Role : Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Lead
Location: Tysons, VA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite) Local candidates only
Duration: 12+ Months Contract

Job Summary

We are seeking a Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) Lead with strong hands-on development expertise to lead enterprise marketing automation initiatives while providing technical leadership to a team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud developers. This is a hands-on engineering leadership role responsible for solution design, code reviews, implementation, platform governance, and mentoring development teams in a large enterprise environment.

Required Skills

10+ years of overall IT experience
5+ years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) development
Strong experience implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud enterprise solutions
Expertise with AMPScript, SQL, SSJS, APIs, Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Content Builder, Data Extensions
Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud architecture, administration, business units, and platform governance
Experience integrating SFMC with Sales Cloud, Financial Services Cloud, Data Cloud/Data 360, and other Salesforce platforms
Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and cross-cloud integrations
Strong solution architecture and technical design experience
Experience reviewing code, mentoring developers, and leading SFMC implementation projects
Experience creating POCs, estimating project timelines, and providing technical leadership
Experience leading Agile delivery teams and collaborating with business stakeholders
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
