Business Analyst Power BI, SQL, JIRA with Supply Chain and Distribution

Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Power BI, SQL, JIRA and with Databricks knowledge to work closely with business stakeholders, data engineering teams, Power BI developers, QA teams, and technical stakeholders to deliver data-driven reporting and analytics solutions.
The ideal candidate will have strong requirements-gathering and business analysis skills, along with a good understanding of Power BI reporting, Databricks, SQL, data sources, data flows, UAT, and Agile delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and reporting requirements.
- Analyze business requirements, mock-ups, and existing reports and translate them into clear functional requirements and user stories.
- Understand business processes, application functionality, data requirements, and reporting needs.
- Work closely with Power BI Developers, Data Engineers, QA teams, and business users to define, clarify, and refine requirements.
- Develop a strong understanding of Power BI reports, dashboards, report functionality, KPIs, filters, and business logic.
- Understand Databricks data environments, including data sources, tables, views, data structures, and data flows supporting Power BI reports.
- Use SQL to validate data, investigate discrepancies, and support business and reporting requirements.
- Coordinate requirement walkthroughs and solution/design discussions with business and technical teams.
- Identify, track, and communicate cross-team dependencies, risks, issues, and action items.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities, including test preparation, business-user coordination, feedback collection, and issue tracking.
- Analyze UAT feedback and translate findings into enhancement requirements, defects, or new user stories.
- Create and manage Jira stories, tasks, defects, and enhancement requests.
- Conduct multiple requirement and solution walkthrough sessions throughout the report development and delivery lifecycle.
- Support end-to-end report delivery from requirement gathering analysis development QA UAT production deployment.
- Coordinate with globais teams working across different time zones.
- Communicate requirements, dependencies, issues, decisions, and delivery status effectively to stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of reporting solutions based on business feedback and evolving requirements.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Business Analysis and requirements gathering.
- Strong communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Good understanding of Power BI and business intelligence/reporting concepts.
- Working knowledge of Databricks and SQL.
- Ability to understand data sources, tables, relationships, data flows, and business logic supporting reporting solutions.
- Experience working with Power BI Developers, Data Engineers, QA, and Business teams.
- Hands-on experience with UAT coordination and execution.
- Experience working with Jira for stories, tasks, defects, and enhancements.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and requirement interpretation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders, dependencies, and deliverables.
- Experience working with global/distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Preferred Experience
- Experience working on Data & Analytics, Business Intelligence, or reporting projects.
- Experience with Power BI and Databricks-based reporting solutions.
- Experience with data validation and analysis using SQL.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience translating business requirements into user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Exposure to data engineering concepts, ETL/ELT processes, and modern cloud data platforms.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale reporting and analytics initiatives.
