Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Irving, TX. This is a 24-month contract opportunity. In this role, you will consult on and participate in moderately complex initiatives within Software Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in C# and .NET application development, particularly with database-driven applications using SQL Server, to resolve complex technical challenges.
Responsibilities: - Consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within Software Engineering
- Contribute to large-scale planning related to Software Engineering deliverables
- Review and analyze moderately complex Software Engineering challenges
- Contribute to the resolution of issues and consult with others to meet deliverables
- Leverage a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
- Collaborate with client personnel in Software Engineering
Requirements: - 5+ years of professional software development experience, including strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET application development
- Strong experience designing and developing database-driven applications using SQL Server or comparable relational database platforms
- Proficiency with database programming concepts, including stored procedures, functions, indexing, query optimization, transactions, and data modeling
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, SOLID principles, design patterns, and software development lifecycle practices
- Experience developing RESTful APIs, services, batch processes, integrations, or backend application components
- Experience with source control systems such as Git and modern development workflows, including branching, pull requests, and code reviews
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across application code, database logic, and runtime environments
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences
Pay range: $43.59 - $51.59 per hour
