This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE).

Responsibilities - What you'll do - Communicate with business users and ITSD team members.
- Develop, test, debug, deploy, and maintain code for applications within DESE's portfolio.
- Coordinate and work with agency staff on open tickets and requests.
- Create and maintain technical documentation.
- Work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications - All you need for success - Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of C#, VB ASP.Net, MVC, JavaScript, CSS, Bootstrap, and Visual Studio.
- Familiar with Azure DevOps (ADO) and Microsoft SQL Server.
- A strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle.
- Experience with SSRS.
- Familiar with ServiceNow.
- Hands on experience with Web Accessibility and Responsive Web Design is desirable.
- Be self-motivated and have the desire to continually develop new skills and improve existing skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills and organizational skills.
- Successful background check results are required for employment in this position. This may include background checks involving a candidate's name and/or fingerprints and other screenings as needed for the specific position.
