We are seeking a proactive and ambitious IT Support Specialist to join our client's established IT infrastructure team. responsibilities:
- End-User Support & Helpdesk: Resolve day-to-day helpdesk tickets and technical queries within established SLAs, providing exceptional end-to-end support for internal staff.
- Hardware & Workstation Management: Lead the setup, configuration, maintenance, and clean-up of workstations, server hardware, and network devices.
- System Administration & Upgrades: Assist in monitoring, updating, and upgrading computer software, hardware, operating systems, and enterprise applications.
- Training & Mentorship: Identify technical needs across departments and train end-users on hardware functionality, software best practices, and new systems.
- Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Track hardware, software, and system performance metrics, performing diagnostic tests to proactively identify and resolve infrastructure bottlenecks.
- Documentation & Best Practices: Document technical processes, system configurations, and maintenance logs while keeping pace with emerging trends and innovations in IT support.
qualifications:
- 2-4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent practical IT experience.
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on experience in IT Support, Helpdesk, or Systems Administration.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Windows 11 and Windows Server.
- Hands-on administration experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange, Active Directory, SharePoint, and Azure.
- Working knowledge of virtualization platforms such as Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Citrix, or AWS.
- Basic knowledge of database maintenance (Microsoft SQL), system security protocols, and enterprise backup/Disaster Recovery platforms.
- Demonstrated experience monitoring system performance metrics and writing clear technical documentation.
