Location-Remote

Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Specialist to support and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure, end-user systems, and business applications. The ideal candidate will provide technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, manage IT assets, and ensure the reliability, security, and availability of IT services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile devices, and business applications.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware, operating systems, and software.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access using Active Directory or similar identity management tools.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications, including Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and endpoint devices.
  • Assist with system upgrades, software deployments, and patch management.
  • Configure and support network devices such as switches, routers, Wi-Fi access points, and VPN connections.
  • Maintain IT asset inventory and software licensing records.
  • Implement and follow IT security policies, including antivirus, endpoint protection, and data security practices.
  • Respond to incidents and service requests through the IT ticketing system within established SLAs.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware procurement, maintenance, and warranty support.
  • Document technical procedures, configurations, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to support IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience with Windows operating systems and Microsoft 365.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, and basic networking concepts.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting, software installation, and endpoint management.
  • Familiarity with IT ticketing systems such as ServiceNow, Jira, or ManageEngine.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Intune, SCCM, or Endpoint Manager.
  • Basic knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware or Hyper-V.
  • Familiarity with Azure Active Directory or Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and endpoint security.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • ITIL Foundation, Microsoft, CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+ certifications are preferred.
