Location: Las Vegas, Nevada (On-site)
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Specialist for a position in Las Vegas. This role is responsible for managing inventory, performing data analysis, and supporting day-to-day operations. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker who can work independently with large datasets in a computer-focused environment. This is a heads-down role requiring a high degree of focus, and individuals must be coachable and open to feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all inventory management and day-to-day operational tasks.
- Manage third-party exchanges and work within a Property Management System (PMS).
- Focus on inventory access and booking for members.
- Perform forecasting and reforecasting of inventory, which constitutes approximately 60% of the work.
- Utilize templates, find source data, and adhere to established checks and balances.
- Analyze and interpret mass data, identifying details and areas for correction.
- Perform data entry tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
Experience: Candidates must have experience working with large datasets for extended periods. This role requires individuals who are comfortable working independently in a focused, heads-down role with minimal social interaction. Candidates must be able to pivot, handle a degree of chaos, and remain resilient in a role where challenges are a part of the learning cycle. Candidates must be coachable and open to feedback.
Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including proficiency with pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. Candidates should understand the concepts behind macros and be adept at problem-solving within Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- An accounting background is considered beneficial.
- Previous experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
- Experience with SQL to retrieve data from systems.
- Strong expertise with presentations
Work Environment
This role is fully onsite, particularly during the training period. All necessary equipment, including a laptop, will be provided. The position requires the ability to work independently with a high degree of focus.
