Pay Range: $27.00hr - $32.00hr
Job Overview:
Our client is searching for an experienced IT Support Specialist for their Longueuil office. The successful candidate will have significant experience in supporting a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The candidate should be comfortable working as part of a distributed team and will primarily support operations in the Montreal and Longueuil sites, as well as providing remote support across the US, Mexico, Canada, and Eastern Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software problems with Apple and Windows products, including desktop and laptop hardware.
- Assist with AV setup for internal meetings and events.
- Support and assist employees using AV systems, both onsite and remote including Google Meet, Zoom and Teams, chrome device management, projectors, audio and video conferencing.
- Image and deploy laptops and desktops using standard MDM deployment tools (JAMF, Ninja1, and AirWatch).
- Manage Okta, Google, and software service administration.
- Deploy and support software to end-users.
- Respond to support requests at the IT Helpdesk both in person and via the ticketing system.
- Manage inventory for hardware and software.
- Collaborate with points of escalation to improve the end-user experience.
- Improve and update internal and user-facing knowledge base documentation.
Requirements:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in French and English.
- A positive, service-oriented attitude with a customer obsession mindset.
- 2-3+ years of experience in IT support roles.
- Basic to intermediate networking skills, including an understanding of servers, switches, and WiFi.
- AV support experience.
- Experience with administration of Apple computer products using enterprise management tools.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience managing Windows laptops and desktops.
- Experience using and managing ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems, particularly ITIL Service Desk software and Confluence.
- Strong macOS hardware and software troubleshooting experience.
- Solid critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Due to nature of job The candidate must have Ability to lift 50+ pounds.
