Job Description
We are seeking a Application Developer to join our dynamic team in Memphis. The role shall focus on production support and engineering for data integrations and services. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Ab Initio ETL, Oracle, Java, Unix/Linux, and scheduling tools and a proven ability to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL and batch processing issues with SLA adherence.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor Ab Initio graphs, batch jobs, and ETL pipelines to ensure availability and performance.
- Debug failed jobs, analyze logs, and perform root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with upstream and downstream teams to implement fixes and preventive actions.
- Develop and enhance Unix/Linux shell scripts to support automation and operational tasks.
- Manage and schedule jobs using Control-M or Autosys and ensure adherence to SLAs.
- Create and maintain documentation for procedures, runbooks, and incident postmortems.
- Support a 24/7 rotational model and provide clear status updates to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Ab Initio ETL, including graph monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Strong Oracle SQL skills, including performance tuning and query optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Java for support, utilities, and service integrations.
- Unix/Linux shell scripting for automation and operational support.
- Experience with Control-M or Autosys scheduling tools.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
- 5-7 years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in industry roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with REST API development and integration.
- Familiarity with incident, problem, and change management practices.
Role Logistics
- Work Location: Memphis. In office. Local candidates required.
- Allocation: 100 percent. 24/7 rotational support model.

Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
