Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior ServiceNow System Administrator with strong hands-on development and technical expertise to support an enterprise ServiceNow environment for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ). This role combines advanced platform administration with ServiceNow application development, integrations, scripting, security, upgrades, and technical solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Administer, configure, and support ServiceNow across multiple modules, including ITSM, CSM, CMDB, Service Portal, Change, Request, and Knowledge Management.
• Design, develop, and implement ServiceNow applications, workflows, and platform enhancements.
• Develop and maintain ServiceNow solutions using JavaScript/Glide scripting, Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and UI Policies.
• Design and implement integrations using APIs, Integration Hub, and scripted integrations.
• Support ServiceNow upgrades, patches, troubleshooting, and performance optimization while minimizing service disruption.
• Implement security, ACLs, access controls, and configuration management practices in accordance with federal requirements.
• Manage update sets, application repositories, instance promotions, and deployment activities.
• Maintain technical documentation and coding standards and contribute to Agile/Scrum delivery and release management.

Required Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience managing and developing within a ServiceNow environment supporting a U.S. Federal Government agency.
• Strong hands-on ServiceNow development and configuration experience.
• Experience with JavaScript/Glide scripting and ServiceNow development tools.
• Experience with Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, workflows, and integrations.
• Experience with ServiceNow APIs, Integration Hub, and enterprise system integrations.
• Experience with ServiceNow security, ACLs, configuration management, upgrades, and deployments.
• Strong troubleshooting, technical documentation, and problem-solving skills.

Required Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist - Customer Service Management (CIS-CSM)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Federal security controls or FedRAMP-aligned ServiceNow environments.
• Experience with Now Assist, Virtual Agent, or Predictive Intelligence.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for ServiceNow deployments.
• Experience mentoring ServiceNow administrators or developers.
• ITIL or Agile/Scrum certification.

Clearance
U.S. Citizenship required. Must be able to obtain and maintain the applicable federal Public Trust suitability determination.

Work Location
Remote within the United States, with occasional onsite or travel requirements as needed.
