Job Title: IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst
Location: Memphis, TN Hybrid
Overview
The IT Strategic Sourcing Analyst performs hands-on IT sourcing and technology contract work, including contract review and redlining, commercial negotiations, and coordination with Legal through execution. The analyst also supports RFPs, analyzes spending, and manages supplier performance and risk.
The schedule is MondayFriday, 9 a.m.5 p.m. Central. The first month requires five days onsite each week for training. After training, the schedule is three days onsite and two days from home, with Wednesday required onsite.
Key Responsibilities Plan and carry out IT sourcing activities, including due diligence, sourcing strategies, complex sourcing events, and initiatives that improve supplier value and reduce risk. Gather and assess business requirements with subject matter experts; solicit and evaluate proposals and support supplier selection. Review and redline technology agreements in collaboration with Legal, negotiate commercial terms, and coordinate with suppliers and business stakeholders to resolve contract issues and move agreements through execution. Apply contracting standards and policies, and protect confidential technology budgets, contract terms, and organizational plans. Serve as the sourcing contact for assigned business groups and maintain supplier relationships focused on continuous improvement. Analyze spending and identify opportunities to improve value by consolidating, extending, or ending contracts in line with business objectives. Review pricing models, usage, service levels, and contract compliance with stakeholders; work with suppliers to improve quality, service, satisfaction, and cost. Monitor supplier financial performance and market conditions, communicate viability risks, and develop mitigation plans with technology strategy stakeholders. Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience in IT sourcing, procurement, vendor management, or strategic sourcing. Proven experience supporting complex sourcing events, RFP processes, and contract negotiations. Experience working with IT vendors and technology contracts. Excellent written communication skills, including the ability to accurately explain detailed and complex contract specifications, policies, and procedures to consultants, contractors, and internal clients.
