Senior S2P Functional Consultant in NYC, NY (Remote role)

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, or S2P consulting roles.
• Must Have: 6-8 years in S2P functional consulting with a minimum of 2 full lifecycle procurement ERP implementations (Ariba, COUPA, GEP etc).
• Demonstrated experience in a client-facing Senior Manager or equivalent leadership role, managing project teams and client relationships.
• Functional Expertise:
• Deep functional knowledge across the entire Source-to-Pay lifecycle, including e-Sourcing, Strategic Sourcing, Tactical Procurement, ESG, Tail spend, Contract Management, Supplier Relationship Management, Invoice Processing, and Payments.
• Strong understanding of procurement best practices, category management, and spend analysis.
• Technical Platform Expertise:
• Expert-level functional knowledge of SAP Ariba modules (e.g., Sourcing, Contracts, P2P, SLP, Buying) AND GEP SMART/NEXXE modules (e.g., Sourcing, Contract Management, Spend Analysis, Procure-to-Pay).
• Understanding of integration touchpoints between S2P platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP ECC, S/4HANA, Oracle).
• Consulting Skills:
• Demonstrated ability to challenge conventional thinking and existing business processes effectively, advocating for optimal solutions.
• Proven experience in critically evaluating software capabilities and limitations, providing authoritative recommendations.
• Exceptional ability to design holistic S2P solutions that balance operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and user-centric adoption.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences (Sourcing, Finance, IT, Business).
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder landscapes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
• Demonstrated project management skills, including planning, execution, and risk management.
• Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or a related field
