ABOUT HIREKEYZ
HireKeyz Inc. is an NMSDC-certified Minority Business Enterprise (MBE), SAM.gov-registered technology staffing and services company with an active CAGE code.
HireKeyz has several years of documented delivery experience supporting IBM-linked engagements through intermediary supplier channels. Our internal delivery history includes approximately 29 technology professionals across IBM-linked programs, with capabilities spanning cybersecurity, cloud and infrastructure, ServiceNow, SAP, Oracle, data/AI, application development and enterprise technology staffing.
We are now building the next phase of our IBM strategy and are seeking an experienced IBM Supplier Strategy & Implementation Consultant who understands how IBM’s supplier, procurement, staffing and professional-services ecosystem works.
THE ROLE
This is not a traditional recruiter or quota-carrying sales position.
We are looking for someone who can help HireKeyz understand, navigate and execute the appropriate path toward becoming a stronger, formally recognized supplier, subcontractor or teaming partner for new and future IBM opportunities.
The ideal candidate has previously worked within IBM or has substantial direct experience managing IBM supplier relationships, strategic sourcing, procurement, contingent workforce, supplier diversity, consulting partnerships, federal programs or enterprise staffing.
The consultant will work directly with HireKeyz executive leadership.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assess HireKeyz’s current IBM-related business position, supplier qualifications and past-performance footprint.
• Develop a practical IBM supplier-entry and growth strategy.
• Identify the appropriate IBM organizations and decision-making functions for Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Supplier Management, Supplier Diversity, Contingent Workforce / Staffing, Professional Services, IBM Consulting and IBM Federal.
• Guide HireKeyz through appropriate IBM supplier-registration, qualification and onboarding processes.
• Advise on IBM Procurement, Buy@IBM, SAP Ariba, Fieldglass and related supplier processes where applicable.
• Determine the best routes for direct IBM supplier opportunities, Tier-2/subcontracting, Federal teaming, staffing/contingent labor and SOW/professional-services engagements.
• Help position HireKeyz’s NMSDC MBE certification effectively within IBM’s supplier ecosystem.
• Review and improve our IBM-specific capability statement, supplier profile and past-performance presentation.
• Identify relevant IBM account, procurement, supplier-management and business stakeholders using legitimate professional channels.
• Assist leadership in preparing for IBM procurement and business-development meetings.
• Help evaluate existing IBM suppliers and potential teaming partners.
• Develop an outreach and relationship-building strategy for new IBM opportunities.
• Establish measurable milestones and maintain an opportunity/action tracker.
• Advise on IBM Federal subcontracting and supplier channels where relevant.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Significant professional experience within the IBM ecosystem.
• Strong understanding of enterprise supplier/procurement processes.

• Ability to explain how IBM supplier decisions are actually made and which organizations control different supplier channels.

IMPORTANT COMPLIANCE REQUIREMENT
HireKeyz is seeking experience, strategic guidance and legitimate professional relationships.
Candidates must not disclose or provide IBM confidential information, proprietary procurement information, trade secrets, restricted customer information or information obtained in violation of any current or former employment obligation.
We are interested in their experience and expertise — not confidential information.
WHO THIS ROLE IS NOT FOR
This position is probably not a fit if the candidate’s IBM experience consists primarily of:
• Recruiting candidates for IBM requirements
• Working temporarily on an IBM project without supplier/procurement exposure
• Technical delivery only
• Selling IBM products without procurement/supplier-management exposure
• Having IBM listed as an end client but no understanding of its supplier ecosystem
We specifically need someone who understands how to establish and grow a legitimate supplier relationship with IBM.
