Key Responsibilities:
Program & Workstream Coordination
• Lead end-to-end project management for the Epic Migration / Implementation initiative, coordinating parallel workstreams across Data Engineering, Analytics, and Clinical Operations.
• Maintain integrated project plans, track milestones, manage dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers across all workstreams.
• Serve as the primary liaison between technical teams, business stakeholders, and the Epic implementation team.
• Drive governance routines including steering committee reporting, RAID logs, change control boards, and executive status updates.
The TPM will coordinate and provide oversight across the following workstreams:
• Core Data Ingestion:
3rd Party, Digital, Clinical, Operational, and Financial data ingestion pipelines
• 3rd Party Application Integration:
End-to-end ingestion and integration with external applications and data vendors
• Cogito / Epic — Data Extracts & Reporting:
Oversight of Cogito reporting layer, Epic data extract design, and reporting delivery
• EDP — Extracts, Metrics & Reporting:
Management of Enterprise Data Platform extract workflows, metrics definition, and report publishing
• Cogito Metrics & Reporting:
Coordination of operational and clinical metrics development within Cogito
• EDP: Raw Data Ingestion (Epic to EDP):
Epic ODS replication into Snowflake, Patient XREF management, and EDP extract design and build
• Data Governance
Enforcing data standards, lineage documentation, access controls, and compliance across all workstreams
Required Qualifications:
• 15+ years of total experience in technical project management, with at least 5-8 years in healthcare IT or health data programs.
• Proven track record managing large-scale Epic implementations or migrations (EMR go-lives, EDP builds or Cogito reporting programs).
• Hands-on experience coordinating data integration and ingestion projects involving clinical, financial, and operational data.
• Strong background in project reporting, executive communication, and stakeholder management.
Technical Knowledge:
• Hands on experience of Epic architecture — including Cogito, EDP, Clarity/Chronicles, and Epic ODS.
• Experience with Healthcare Data Models (HL7 FHIR, EDW structures) and data extract methodologies.
• Experience of API-based integrations and 3rd party application data ingestion patterns in healthcare environments.
• Exposure to cloud data platforms, Snowflake preferred in the context of healthcare data engineering.
• Knowledge of data governance principles including data lineage, stewardship, and access management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Epic certification(s) in relevant modules (e.g., Cogito, Bridges, Clarity).
• Exposure to Agile/SAFe methodologies in healthcare data programs.
• Prior experience in a data analytics consulting firm supporting healthcare clients
