GSO/ FSO Ground Support Operator / Field Service Operator - responsible for setting up and taking down delivery drones, performing safety checks, and ensuring smooth flight operations in compliance with FAA regulations and company protocols. Will be part of a Roving Team managing drones across multiple sites of the customer in a city.

responsibilities:
Job Duties -
Team Leadership & Fleet Deployment: Directs and supports Field Service Operators in setup, teardown, and operational readiness of delivery drone fleets across assigned customer sites.
Operational Oversight: Manages site coverage to ensure seamless execution, minimal downtime, and high service level agreement (SLA) performance.
Regulatory & Safety Compliance: Serves as authority for safety checks, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and strict compliance with FAA Part 107 regulations and corporate protocols.
Site & Operations Management: Conducts risk assessments at new deployment locations, troubleshoots real-time operational bottlenecks, and interfaces with customer site management.
Training & Continuous Improvement: Mentors field personnel, conducts performance evaluations, and feeds field insights back to leadership to optimize ground operations and SOPs.

Field & Flight Operations: Experience in drone/UAS operations, aviation field support, or mobile technical logistics.
Leadership / Team Lead Experience: 1-2 years supervising, leading, or managing field technicians, roving crews, or operational site teams.
Customer-Facing Operations: Proven track record managing multi-site operations or directly interfacing with client site managers.
FAA Certification: Active FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (required).
Technical Aptitude: Hands-on experience with drone hardware maintenance, pre/post-flight checklists, telemetry systems, and ground control stations

Real-Time Problem Solving: Ability to troubleshoot technical equipment, weather delays, or logistical bottlenecks on the fly.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to bridge field operations with corporate management and customer contacts.

Lift from ground level and carry up to 35 lbs and carry multiple items at the same time
- Crouch down and pick up or place objects from/to the ground weighing up to twenty (20) pounds
- Push or pull a wheeled cart on level ground weighing up to two hundred (200) pounds
- Be on feet constantly walking (10k+ steps per day)
- Work outside in various weather conditions (light rain, wind, temperatures ranging from 23F to 110F)
- Maintain mental and visual alertness"
