Oracle HCM Cloud Techno-Functional Reporting Specialist

Job Summary
The client is seeking an Oracle HCM Cloud Techno-Functional Specialist with strong experience in Oracle HCM reporting, analytics, and functional knowledge of HCM modules.
This role will focus primarily on Oracle HCM reporting and analytics, including BIP/BI Publisher, OTBI, HCM Extracts, and related reporting solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Core HR and one or more Oracle HCM Cloud modules, with the ability to understand functional business requirements and translate them into effective reporting and analytics solutions.
The candidate does not need to be specialized in a specific module such as Payroll, Benefits, or Compensation. Experience with Core HR and any additional Oracle HCM Cloud modules is acceptable.
Key Responsibilities
Oracle HCM Reporting & Analytics
- Design, develop, maintain, and support reports within Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Develop complex BIP / BI Publisher reports based on business requirements.
- Create and maintain OTBI analyses, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Develop and maintain HCM Extracts for reporting and downstream data requirements.
- Analyze HCM data and provide reporting solutions for HRIS and business stakeholders.
- Troubleshoot reporting issues, data discrepancies, and performance-related problems.
- Validate reports and data outputs against business requirements and source system data.
Techno-Functional Analysis
- Work with HRIS and business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements.
- Translate functional requirements into technical reporting solutions.
- Analyze business processes and determine appropriate Oracle HCM reporting approaches.
- Understand the relationship between HCM business processes, configuration, and underlying data.
- Partner with functional and technical teams to resolve reporting and data issues.
- Participate in requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Oracle HCM Module Experience
- Strong working knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud Core HR.
- Experience with one or more additional Oracle HCM Cloud modules.

BIP / BI Publisher
- Develop complex BIP reports using Oracle HCM data.
- Create and modify report templates and data models.
- Work with SQL-based reporting requirements.
- Troubleshoot report performance and data accuracy issues.
- Support scheduled and recurring reporting requirements.
OTBI
- Develop OTBI analyses and dashboards.
- Work with appropriate subject areas and dimensions.
- Build reporting solutions based on business requirements.
- Troubleshoot data and reporting discrepancies.
- Support ad-hoc reporting and management analytics.
HCM Extracts & Data
- Develop and maintain HCM Extracts for business and downstream system requirements.
- Understand extract structures and HCM data relationships.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation.
- Work with technical teams when extracts are used as part of integrations or interfaces.
Testing & Production Support
- Participate in unit testing, system testing, UAT, and regression testing.
- Validate reports against functional requirements and expected results.
- Troubleshoot production reporting issues.
- Perform root-cause analysis and coordinate resolution with technical and functional teams.
- Maintain documentation for reports, dashboards, extracts, and reporting processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.
- Strong experience with Oracle HCM Reporting.
- Strong experience with BIP / BI Publisher.
- Strong experience with OTBI.
- Experience with HCM Extracts.
- Strong SQL/data analysis skills.
- Strong understanding of Core HR.
- Experience with at least one additional Oracle HCM Cloud module.
- Ability to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.

- Experience with multiple Oracle HCM Cloud modules.
- Experience with Fast Formulas.
- Experience with Oracle HCM integrations.
- Experience with FDI / Fusion Data Intelligence.
- Experience working with HRIS teams in an enterprise environment.
