Job Description
We are looking for an Asset Management Specialis to support ongoing IT Asset Management operations and multiple State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle initiatives. This position will be a full-time contract role and onsite.
What You\'ll Do
Analyze and maintain IT asset inventory data across multiple locations
Validate hardware inventories and reconcile asset records
Ensure accuracy and completeness of asset information within ServiceNow
Review, document, and improve asset management processes and procedures
Research and standardize new hardware device models and part classifications
Generate recurring reports to support compliance, audit, and executive reporting requirements
Track IT assets throughout their lifecycle from deployment through retirement
Coordinate with IT field support teams and end users regarding asset-related activities
Support implementation and enhancement of asset management tools, systems, and modules
Assist with State of Good Repair (SOGR) lifecycle projects and initiatives
Support large-scale computer deployment, refresh, recovery, and inventory programs
Monitor adherence to asset management policies and standards
What You\'ll Need
Required:
Experience in IT Asset Management, Inventory Management, or related operational support functions
Experience maintaining and auditing asset databases
Knowledge of asset lifecycle management processes
Experience using ServiceNow or a similar asset management platform
Strong analytical, organizational, and data management skills
Ability to generate reports and analyze inventory and asset data
Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and consistency
Excellent communication and coordination skills
Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
Preferred:
Experience with ServiceNow Asset Management modules
Desktop Support experience
Logistics, warehouse, or inventory control experience
Experience supporting enterprise-scale hardware deployment and recovery initiatives
Familiarity with IT hardware standards, procurement, and asset tracking best practices
Experience supporting compliance and audit activities
Physical Demands
Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA and other federal, state, and local standards
Sedentary work that involves sitting or remaining stationary most of the time with occasional need to move around offices and asset storage locations
Ability to conduct repetitive tasks on a computer, utilizing a mouse, keyboard, and monitor
Ability to lift and move computer equipment and related hardware as needed to support inventory validation activities

$50 - $59 per hour
The pay range for this position is listed above.Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including location, experience, and education. Benefit packages include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as 401k retirement account access. Employees in this role may also be entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
