Job Summary
We are seeking a Senior SAP HR Consultant with strong SAP Time Management experience to support HR and workforce management initiatives for a client in the Transportation / Logistics industry.
The ideal candidate will have deep hands-on experience with SAP HCM/HR Time Management, including time evaluation, work schedules, attendance, leave management, and integration with payroll. Transportation or Logistics industry experience is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support SAP HR/HCM Time Management implementations, enhancements, and production support.
- Configure and maintain SAP Time Management functionalities, including:
- Personnel Time Management
- Time Evaluation
- Work Schedules
- Attendance & Absence Management
- Leave Management
- Overtime and Shift Management
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP functional solutions.
- Work closely with HR, Payroll, Operations, and business stakeholders.
- Configure and troubleshoot SAP HCM Time Management processes.
- Support integration between Time Management, SAP Payroll, Personnel Administration, and other HR modules.
- Develop functional specifications and coordinate with technical teams for enhancements and integrations.
- Perform testing, defect resolution, and deployment activities.
- Provide production support and troubleshoot complex SAP HR/time-related issues.
- Support process improvements and recommend solutions based on SAP best practices.
- Prepare documentation, training materials, and knowledge-transfer documentation.
Required Skills
- 8+ years of SAP HCM/HR experience with strong functional expertise.
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP Time Management.
- Expertise in Time Evaluation, Work Schedules, Absence/Attendance Management, and Leave Management.
- Strong understanding of SAP Payroll integration.
- Experience with SAP HCM Personnel Administration and organizational processes.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, configuration, testing, and production support.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Mandatory: Transportation or Logistics industry experience.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale workforce/time-management environments.
- Experience with union/non-union workforce, shift schedules, overtime, and complex time rules.
- SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA HCM experience.
- Experience with SAP integrations and third-party timekeeping systems.
- Experience working in enterprise-level SAP environments.
