Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced SAP PP Functional Consultant with 15+ years of SAP PP experience and strong hands-on expertise in SAP Variant Configuration (VC).

The ideal candidate will have completed 3–4 full-cycle SAP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement projects and possess strong functional knowledge of Variant Configuration, including characteristics, classes, dependencies, configuration profiles, variant tables, Super BOMs, and Super Routings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead SAP PP functional configuration and implementation activities.
• Design and configure SAP Variant Configuration (VC) solutions.
• Configure Characteristics and Classes.
• Configure dependency types including Procedures, Constraints, and Preconditions.
• Configure and maintain Configuration Profiles.
• Configure and maintain Variant Tables.
• Design and maintain Variant Class Hierarchies.
• Configure and support Super BOM and Super Routing.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP PP/VC solutions.
• Support integration between SAP PP and other relevant SAP modules.
• Troubleshoot functional issues and provide appropriate solutions.
• Prepare functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements.
• Participate in testing, documentation, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Work closely with business users, functional teams, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of SAP PP Functional experience.
• 3–4 full-cycle implementation, rollout, or major enhancement projects.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Variant Configuration (VC).
• Characteristics and Classes.
• Dependency Types:

  • Preconditions
• Configuration Profiles.
• Variant Tables.
• Variant Class Hierarchies.
• Super BOM.
• Super Routing.
• Strong SAP PP configuration and business process knowledge.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with complex Make-to-Order environments.
• Strong integration knowledge between SAP PP, MM, SD, and CO.
• Experience with SAP enhancements and custom developments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in large-scale SAP implementation/rollout environments.

Required Experience

• 15+ years of SAP PP Functional experience.
• 3–4 full-cycle SAP implementation, rollout, or major enhancement projects.
• Extensive hands-on SAP Variant Configuration experience.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred.
