Description
We are looking for a Help Desk/Desktop Support Analyst to provide day-to-day technical support for end users in Okemos, Michigan. This Long-term Contract position is ideal for someone who enjoys resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues while delivering dependable customer service. The role supports a real estate and property environment and focuses on maintaining smooth desktop operations, timely issue resolution, and consistent user support across Microsoft-based systems.
Responsibilities:
Respond to user support requests and manage service desk tickets through resolution in a timely and detail-oriented manner.
Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, and peripheral issues involving Microsoft Windows environments and related business applications.
Support account access tasks, including user administration and basic maintenance within Active Directory.
Diagnose and resolve Windows 10 system problems, escalating more complex incidents when necessary.
Provide hands-on and remote assistance to employees experiencing technical difficulties with devices, software, or connectivity.
Document incidents, solutions, and recurring issues clearly to improve support efficiency and knowledge sharing.
Assist with workstation setup, configuration, and routine maintenance to ensure reliable daily operations.
Requirements
Experience providing help desk or desktop support in a detail-oriented environment.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Windows 10 troubleshooting techniques.
Familiarity with Active Directory for basic user account and access support.
Ability to investigate and resolve common technical issues using structured troubleshooting methods.
Experience handling and updating service desk tickets with accurate documentation.
Strong communication skills and a customer-focused approach to end-user support.
