Project manage the upcoming regulatory changes required by YE and Q1 2027.

Role Responsibilities: (what they will be doing)

The Project Manager will lead the execution of complex Finance and regulatory programs, including accounting policy implementations, regulatory reporting enhancements, examination remediation efforts, financial restatements, and data-quality investigations. This role will partner across Finance, Regulatory Reporting, Risk, Technology, Treasury, Accounting Policy, and Operations to ensure changes are delivered on time, within governance standards, and with strong regulatory controls.

Key responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of multiple concurrent regulatory and accounting change initiatives.
Develop and manage project plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, issues, and executive reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to implement process, data, reporting, and system changes.
Support regulatory reporting initiatives, including FR Y-14 and FR 2052a-related efforts.
Drive remediation activities resulting from regulatory examinations, findings, and testing.
Facilitate governance processes, stakeholder engagement, decision-making forums, and executive communications.
Oversee testing, implementation readiness, and post-implementation support.
Ensure solutions are documented, auditable, and aligned with regulatory and accounting requirements.

Must Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Vendor should not submit any candidate that does not have these skills/prior experience.)

7+ years of project or program management experience within banking, financial services, Finance, Risk, Treasury, Regulatory Reporting, or Accounting organizations.
Demonstrated experience leading complex regulatory, accounting, reporting, or remediation initiatives.
Strong project planning, governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver against regulatory deadlines.
Excellent executive communication and presentation skills.

PlNice to Have Skills/Prior Experiences: (Hiring Manager DOES NOT require these skills/ prior experience. However, candidates with any of these will be looked at first.)

Experience with FR Y-14, FR 2052a, CCAR, liquidity reporting, or other regulatory reporting frameworks.
Experience implementing accounting policy or accounting standard changes.
Background supporting regulatory examinations, remediation programs, or financial restatements.
PMP certification and/or prior consulting or large-bank transformation experience.
