Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Production Support professional for a hybrid position (4 days onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Chandler, AZ, Plano, TX or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is within the Banking and Production services group, responsible for providing day-to-day Level 2 operational application support for new and existing applications. The successful candidate will monitor application jobs and services, resolve system issues reported by business users, and support change and release activities.
Responsibilities: - Provide day to day production application support with in-depth analysis, investigation, and troubleshooting on banking platforms and associated applications
- Monitor application jobs, services, and work through resolving application issues, problems, and incidents
- Support change and release activities
- Participate in incident bridge calls, ensuring all required individuals are on the call and are actively seeking to resolve the issue(s)
- Document and maintain operations procedures
- Work closely with technology and business operation teams
Requirements: - Practical work experience with Unix/Linux systems and file transmission
- Ability to write SQL queries and perform DB updates
- Exposure to monitoring and scheduling tools such as Autosys, Splunk, and Dynatrace
- Informatica and Hadoop systems knowledge to navigate through the systems, verify logs, and troubleshoot issues
- Experience with DataStage, TeraData, and Spark
- Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Remedy or ServiceNow
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
