Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer/Lead for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This is a senior-level role for an experienced Java Developer/Lead with a strong background in the payments domain. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the full software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, hands-on programming with Java and Springboot, and working within a continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. This position involves both onshore and offshore team coordination.
Responsibilities: - Serve in a Developer/Lead capacity for enterprise applications
- Review requirements and project documentation to understand the application and perform automation feasibility analysis
- Assist with offshore and onshore task coordination
- Work within a DevOps environment focused on continuous delivery and integration
Requirements: - 8+ years of hands-on experience in a Developer/Lead capacity
- Solid computer programming experience with Java/J2EE, SQL, Spring, Springboot, Webservices (REST and SOAP), and HTML
- Experience with DevOps, continuous delivery, and continuous integration
- Knowledge of transaction processing, JaxB, JMS, JDBC, Weblogic, JBOSS, and MQ
- Strong understanding of core Java (streams, files, collections)
- Experience with IBM MQ or Kafka, and Oracle databases
- Familiarity with the Payments Domain, Agile methodologies, and Containers
- Strong technical skills and end-to-end understanding of application architecture
Desired skills: - Drools knowledge would be a plus
Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
