Job#: 3043607 Job Description: Position OverviewWe are seeking a Warranty Claims Analyst with a strong mechanical background and a passion for troubleshooting vehicle systems. This role is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and processing warranty claims related to commercial vehicles and their components. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on mechanical knowledge, understand vehicle repair processes, and be capable of evaluating claims efficiently and accurately.
Approximately 90% of this role is focused on warranty claims processing, requiring a solid understanding of vehicle systems, repair procedures, and technical documentation. The remaining responsibilities involve supporting reporting, analytics, and process improvement initiatives through the use of data and emerging technologies.
Key Responsibilities- Review, investigate, and process warranty claims for vehicle components and systems.
- Analyze repair documentation and determine warranty eligibility.
- Evaluate failures involving axles, transmissions, fuel systems, cooling systems, water systems, and other vehicle components.
- Collaborate with dealers, service centers, and internal stakeholders to gather claim information and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain accurate claim records and supporting documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to warranty processes and operational efficiency.
- Utilize reporting tools, Microsoft Office applications, and internal systems to monitor claim activity and identify trends.
- Leverage analytics and AI-enabled tools to enhance reporting and business insights.
- Participate in team meetings, weekly huddles, and collaborative problem-solving sessions.
- Ensure compliance with established warranty policies, procedures, and guidelines.
Required Qualifications1. Mechanical Knowledge & Experience- Previous experience as a mechanic, technician, service advisor, warranty administrator, or similar role.
- Understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair processes.
- Knowledge of commercial vehicles, heavy equipment, automotive systems, or related industries.

Preferred Qualifications- Experience processing warranty claims.
- Internship or professional experience with a dealership, fleet operation, manufacturer, or service center.
- Transportation, trucking, automotive, or equipment industry experience.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Automotive Technology, Diesel Technology, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
- Experience with Tableau or similar reporting tools.
- Exposure to AI, analytics, or business intelligence platforms.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel.
