Senior Federal IT Specialist – DLA JETS 2.0
Important: Required clearance levels and eligibility must be met at proposal submission. Security+ CE is an additional Tryfacta screening requirement and is not stated as a specific certification requirement for every position in the individual RFQ job descriptions.
Job Summary:
Tryfacta is seeking qualified Senior Federal IT Professionals for our client under the DLA JETS 2.0 program. We are recruiting for four Key Personnel positions: Task Order Project Manager, SAP Application Administrator – Senior Level, Software Systems Engineer – Lead, and Database Administrator – Senior Level.
This is a temporary contract assignment supporting a federal DoD program. All positions are designated as off-site.
Position Title: Senior Federal IT Specialist – DLA JETS 2.0
Location: Remote / Off-site – Nationwide
Duration: January 4, 2027 – January 3, 2028, with two one-year option periods
Work Schedule: Full-time contract assignment
Pay Rate: Based on experience and position
Open Positions:
Task Order Project Manager
SAP Application Administrator – Senior Level
Software Systems Engineer – Lead
Database Administrator – Senior Level
Responsibilities for these positions include, but are not limited to:
Task Order Project Manager: Lead project delivery, manage project teams, oversee schedules, resources, risks, and stakeholder coordination.
SAP Application Administrator: Administer, maintain, configure, and troubleshoot SAP applications, particularly SAP SuccessFactors.
Software Systems Engineer: Lead systems engineering and software development activities, support BI platforms, analytics, data modeling, dashboard design, and modern security solutions such as ICAM.
Database Administrator: Administer, operate, maintain, secure, and optimize enterprise databases using Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, and other relational database technologies.
To be considered for these positions, you should have the following qualifications:
1. Task Order Project Manager
Minimum 5 years of project management or relevant experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
Bachelor's degree in a related field or four additional years of related experience.
Active PMP certification or equivalent nationally recognized project management certification.
Required security eligibility: IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 at proposal submission.
Additional Tryfacta screening requirement: CompTIA Security+ CE.
2. SAP Application Administrator – Senior Level
Minimum 6 years of industry/functional experience.
3–6 years of hands-on SAP SuccessFactors experience.
Required security eligibility: IT-I Critical Sensitive / Tier 5 and Secret clearance at proposal submission.
Additional Tryfacta screening requirement: CompTIA Security+ CE.
3. Software Systems Engineer – Lead
Minimum 10 years of systems engineering and software development experience.
Experience with BI platforms, analytics, data modeling, and dashboard design.
Experience implementing modern security solutions, including ICAM.
Relevant certification from a nationally recognized technical authority.
Required security eligibility: IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive / Tier 3 at proposal submission.
Additional Tryfacta screening requirement: CompTIA Security+ CE.
4. Database Administrator – Senior Level
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience with database query languages such as Oracle, PL/SQL, SQL Server, or MS Access.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on RDBMS experience.
Ability to work across operating systems and additional programming languages.
Experience administering, operating, maintaining, and securing large-scale databases on at least two large-organization projects.
Required security eligibility: IT-I Critical Sensitive / Tier 5 and Secret clearance at proposal submission.
Additional Tryfacta screening requirement: CompTIA Security+ CE.
Additional Preferences for All Positions:
Direct DLA experience is highly preferred.
DoD experience is preferred; other Federal government experience is an advantage.
Relevant DoD 8570/8140 certifications and operating-system certifications, as applicable to the duties performed.
