We have an immediate opening for a Sr. Business Analyst (Data & Analytics) with strong hands-on experience to support a long-term engagement with our client. Must collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Location: 100% Remote (Minnesota Candidates Preferred)

We have a new requirement for a Senior Business Analyst supporting an enterprise Data Democratization program. The role is remote and works Central time hours. Candidates based in Minnesota will have a clear advantage. After Minnesota, we prefer Wisconsin, Iowa, the Dakotas or Illinois. Strong candidates elsewhere in the US will still be considered if they work comfortably on CST.

This is a data-focused BA role, not a general functional analyst position. The person will sit on a Data Products team and work between business stakeholders, Data Product Managers, and Data Engineers. Day to day, they will gather reporting and analytics requirements and write user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps. They will also review source-to-target mappings, support data validation, and coordinate UAT. The client wants someone who can open a table, write the SQL, and tell the engineers exactly what is wrong. Please screen for that first.

Must-haves (please do not submit without these):

5+ years in enterprise data, reporting, or analytics business analysis. 6 8 years is preferred.

Strong hands-on SQL, plus working use of Python, Databricks, and Power BI

Experience with Oracle and/or Salesforce data schemas, including mapping data flows from source systems into Databricks

User story and acceptance criteria writing in Azure DevOps, in an Agile/Scrum environment

A clear communicator who can present to business users and hold their own with engineers

Strong differentiators:

Atlan or Sigma Computing

Snowflake, or Databricks architecture and administration exposure

A background in data engineering or data science

Experience with KPI and business-definition documentation, report rationalization, or self-service analytics enablement
