Based on demonstrated performance and mutual fit, there may be an opportunity to transition to a salary + commission structure with employee benefits after the initial six-month period.

The Opportunity

This is not a traditional corporate sales role.

We're looking for someone who is self-directed, well-connected, and confident in their ability to create opportunities without needing to be handed leads or closely managed.

You may already have strong relationships with IT leaders, hiring managers, procurement professionals, HR leaders, or other decision-makers. You may be an experienced IT staffing or technology sales professional looking for a more entrepreneurial opportunity.

What matters most is that you know how to turn relationships into business.

You won't be building a staffing operation from scratch.

Vega already has an established and experienced team behind you, including tenured IT recruiters, business administration, accounting, and operational support.

Our team will support you with recruiting, candidate qualification, onboarding, administration, and ongoing consultant support so you can stay focused on developing and growing client relationships.

What We're Looking For

• Proven success in business development, preferably within IT staffing, staff augmentation, technology consulting, professional services, or a related industry
• Existing industry relationships and a professional network that can help create new client opportunities
• A true hunter mentality with demonstrated ability to generate your own pipeline
• Experience opening new accounts and developing relationships from the ground up
• Relationships with IT executives, hiring managers, procurement leaders, HR professionals, business leaders, or other decision-makers
• Experience selling to mid-market and/or enterprise organizations
• Entrepreneurial mindset and confidence working independently
• Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
• Self-motivated, disciplined, persistent, and comfortable operating without extensive supervision
• A track record of turning relationships and conversations into revenue

What You'll Do

Leverage your existing network to identify and develop new client opportunities

• Prospect and open new accounts
• Build relationships with decision-makers at mid-market and enterprise organizations
• Generate opportunities through networking, referrals, strategic outreach, and relationship building
• Manage the business development cycle from initial introduction through contract execution
• Partner closely with Vega's experienced recruiting team to fulfill client requirements
• Expand successful client relationships into additional departments and opportunities
• Help drive Vega's continued growth and market expansion

Compensation, Growth & Benefits

The first six months of this opportunity are 100% commission-based, with no base salary and uncapped earning potential.

This initial structure is designed for a self-directed business development professional who is confident in their ability to generate opportunities, build relationships, and produce results.

For an individual who demonstrates the ability to bring in new business, develop a meaningful pipeline, and establish productive client relationships, there may be an opportunity after the initial six-month period to transition to a salary + commission compensation structure with employee benefits.
