Time & Attendance configuration, scheduling rules, pay rules
Labor planning, accruals, compliance rules
Interface behavior (HCM → WFM data flow)
Troubleshooting import/export failures and transaction states
Hands-on knowledge of WFM administration & user setup

Employee lifecycle management (Hire → Terminate)
Organization structure, jobs, positions
ESS/MSS configurations
Security roles & user provisioning
Data corrections & master data ownership
2. Integration & Interface (Critical for Build SME)
End-to-end interface understanding:
Sender → Middleware → Receiver flow
HCM ↔ WFM interface troubleshooting & reprocessing
File-based integrations (CSV, SFTP, APIs)
Knowledge of integration failure points and root cause handling
Interface re-run from HCM
Multi-system coordination
Dependency on integration ownership clarity
