Investment Operations Business Analyst – SimCorp

 

We are seeking an Investment Operations Business Analyst with hands-on SimCorp Dimension experience to support investment operations, data, reconciliation, testing, and system-related initiatives.

Key responsibilities:

• Support investment operations workflows across trade lifecycle, positions, cash, settlements, and investment data.
• Analyze and reconcile investment data, identify breaks/discrepancies, and support root-cause resolution.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into functional requirements for technology teams.
• Support SimCorp Dimension configuration, enhancements, testing, and operational processes.
• Develop and execute SIT/UAT test scenarios, validate results, track defects, and coordinate resolution/retesting.
• Support data migration and validation, including source-to-target comparisons and reconciliation.
• Work with investment operations, business users, and technical teams to troubleshoot data and system issues.
• Create and maintain process flows, requirements, test documentation, reconciliation procedures, and user documentation.
   

Ideal background:

• Strong Investment Operations / Asset Management experience.
• Hands-on SimCorp Dimension experience — required.
• Strong understanding of investment data, trade lifecycle, positions, cash, reconciliation, and exception management.
• Experience with UAT/SIT, data migration, data validation, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical skills; SQL/data analysis experience is highly desirable.
• Ability to operate as a techno-functional BA, bridging investment operations and technology teams.
