Responsibilities
• Monitor computer networks for security issues and investigate security breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
• Document security breaches and assess the damage caused.
• Collaborate with the security team to perform tests and identify network vulnerabilities, including penetration testing.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain high-security standards.
• Recommend best practices for IT security and install security measures such as firewalls and data encryption programs.
• Conduct analysis, confirm intrusion information, and create forensically sound duplicates of files.
• Decrypt data and provide technical summaries and input.
• Examine recovered data for relevant information and perform dynamic analysis, including timeline, statistical, and file signature analysis.
• Support real-time cyber defense tasks to assist deployable Incident Response Teams (IRTs).

Requirements
• Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Polygraph
• Bachelor’s degree (BS or BA)
• At least 1 year of overall experience, including experience with Splunk Enterprise Security (R)
• Experience with or certifications in tools such as Microsoft Sentinel (P), GIAC Continuous Monitoring Certification (GMON), GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH), GIAC Certified Forensic Analyst (GCFA), GIAC Certified Intrusion Analyst (GCIA), GIAC Network Forensic Analyst (GNFA)
