We are seeking a hands-on Oracle FSDF / DFCS Technical Data Analyst to support a large-scale financial data modernization initiative. This role will focus on developing, configuring, and enhancing data structures within Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) and Oracle Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS).
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in SQL development, data engineering, and Oracle FSDF configuration, with experience modernizing legacy data platforms.
This is a highly technical, hands-on position focused on development and implementation rather than traditional business analysis or project coordination. Candidates with strong Oracle FSDF experience will be considered even without direct DFCS experience.
Key Responsibilities
Perform hands-on technical development and configuration within Oracle FSDF and/or DFCS.
Design, create, and modify SQL tables, queries, and complex data structures to support financial data processing.
Rebuild and migrate legacy data pipelines into the future-state Oracle FSDF architecture.
Analyze existing data flows, identify gaps, and implement technical improvements.
Develop and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation, integration, and validation.
Troubleshoot data issues, resolve technical challenges, and support platform enhancements.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and technology teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Participate in knowledge transfer sessions with Oracle and internal technical teams.
Required Qualifications
Strong hands-on experience with Oracle Financial Services Data Foundation (FSDF) and/or Oracle Data Foundation Cloud Service (DFCS).
Advanced SQL development skills, including creating tables, writing complex queries, and modifying data structures.
Experience in data engineering, technical data analysis, or enterprise data platform development.
Proven ability to independently develop, configure, and implement technical data solutions.
Experience with data pipelines, data integration, and legacy system modernization.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Direct experience configuring and developing within Oracle DFCS.
Experience with Oracle Financial Services applications.
Banking or financial services industry experience.
Experience migrating legacy data structures and pipelines to modern enterprise data platforms.
Background in data engineering, software development, or technical data analysis.
Ideal Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate has a background in technical development or data engineering and has transitioned into financial data management or technical data analysis.
They should be comfortable working directly within Oracle FSDF, writing complex SQL, creating new database tables, configuring data structures, and taking ownership of hands-on implementation activities.
Strong Oracle FSDF experience is essential, while direct DFCS experience is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates whose experience is primarily focused on requirements gathering, data mapping, documentation, or project coordination without hands-on technical development may not be suitable for this position.
