Oracle EPM Specialist

Key Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing technical and functional support for Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.
• Respond to application support tickets and related requests within reasonable service timeframes.
• Serve as a knowledgeable Oracle EPM resource for application administrators and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot application, configuration, reporting, and functional issues.
• Develop or modify reports within Oracle EPM as requested.
• Review and analyze organizational business needs and collaborate with users to evaluate requirements and recommend solutions.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional requirements, technical designs, and system specifications.
• Analyze and design application logic, reports, testing criteria, and supporting system functionality.
• Develop, test, debug, document, and maintain application solutions.
• Conduct or coordinate:
  • User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Integration Testing
  • Regression Testing
  • Performance/Stress Testing
• Evaluate defects and implement appropriate corrections.
• Participate in structured system walkthroughs and technical reviews.
• Provide technical assistance, instruction, and knowledge transfer to other team members.
• Perform ongoing application maintenance, identify system issues, and develop appropriate solutions.
• Participate in application planning, design, development, integration, and implementation.
• Coordinate multiple application-development and support activities when required.
• Maintain appropriate application and technical documentation.
• Provide weekly status reports for weeks in which support hours are utilized, including tracking of remaining contracted support hours.

Required Qualifications

• Professional experience supporting enterprise applications and business systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) applications.
• Ability to provide both technical and functional application support.
• Experience analyzing business requirements and translating user needs into technical and functional solutions.
• Experience designing, developing, testing, debugging, and maintaining enterprise applications.
• Knowledge of:
  • Application Development

  • Application Security
  • Testing Methodologies
  • Enterprise Application Architecture
• Experience developing and executing appropriate application testing protocols.
• Ability to analyze user requests, technical documentation, and system requirements independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work independently on complex application assignments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills. 

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong hands-on Oracle EPM administration or consulting experience.
• Experience supporting Finance-related enterprise applications.
• Experience creating reports within Oracle EPM.
• Experience serving as a single technical point of contact for enterprise application administrators.
• Experience supporting production systems and resolving application support tickets.
• Experience coordinating application development, testing, integration, and implementation.
• Experience providing technical training, knowledge transfer, and application guidance.
• Experience documenting functional requirements, technical designs, system configurations, and operational procedures.

• Oracle Enterprise Performance Management certification
• Oracle Cloud EPM certification
• Oracle Planning or Financial Consolidation certification
• Relevant Oracle Cloud certification
