Senior Oracle Fusion HCM Architect
Interview Process: 2 Virtual Rounds
We are looking for a hands-on Senior Oracle Fusion HCM Architect to review and improve an existing Oracle Fusion environment. The initial implementation is complete, but there are concerns around the overall setup, functionality, and system effectiveness. The person will be responsible for identifying gaps, resolving technical issues, and bringing the platform to a more stable and optimized state.
The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge along with the ability to work directly with HR and business leadership, understand their challenges, and recommend practical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Review the existing Oracle Fusion HCM setup, identify configuration gaps, and drive system improvements.
- Provide technical and functional expertise across Core HR and other HCM areas, including Benefits, Absence, Compensation, Talent, Recruiting, and Learning.
- Work closely with HR, Finance, and IT teams to understand business needs and convert them into effective system solutions.
- Manage HCM configurations, approval workflows, security roles, and access controls.
- Develop and support Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, and BI Publisher reports.
- Handle integrations using OIC, REST/SOAP APIs, HDL, and HSDL.
- Support data quality, reporting, quarterly releases, testing, and ongoing production issues.
- Take ownership of stabilization activities and recommend improvements to the overall HCM architecture.
Required Experience
- 7+ years of Oracle HCM experience, with strong hands-on exposure to Fusion Cloud.
- Previous experience working as an Oracle HCM Solution or Technical Architect.
- Strong expertise in HCM configurations, security, integrations, reporting, and data management.
- Practical experience with Fast Formulas, HCM Extracts, OTBI, BI Publisher, HDL/HSDL, and OIC.
- Ability to independently troubleshoot complex issues and improve an existing Oracle environment.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, especially when working with non-technical teams.
Good to Have
- Healthcare industry experience.
- Oracle HCM implementation and post-go-live optimization experience.
- Knowledge of OCI, SQL, and enterprise-level integrations.
- Oracle HCM certifications and experience across multiple HCM modules.
What We Are Looking For: Someone who can take ownership of the existing Oracle Fusion HCM platform, understand what isn't working, fix the underlying issues, and work confidently with business stakeholders to make the system deliver better results. This is a hands-on architect role, not just a coordination or advisory position.
