#Position Overview
Seeking an enterprise-level Oracle SMCS & RMCS Architect with 12+ years of Oracle ERP/Cloud Financials experience and 5+ years of dedicated hands-on architecture expertise in Oracle Subscription Management Cloud Service (SMCS) and Oracle Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) for a 6-month contract role (100% Onsite in Boston, MA). The ideal candidate will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of subscription lifecycle management, complex billing models, and automated revenue recognition solutions on Oracle Fusion Cloud while ensuring strict adherence to ASC 606 and IFRS 15 accounting standards.
#Key Responsibilities
Subscription & Revenue Architecture: Lead end-to-end design, configuration, and implementation of Oracle SMCS and RMCS on Oracle Fusion Cloud to support subscription lifecycles, complex rating/billing, and automated revenue accounting.
ASC 606 / IFRS 15 Compliance Automation: Architect and govern automated revenue recognition rules, performance obligations (POBs), contract modifications, and standalone selling price (SSP) allocations within Oracle RMCS.
Order-to-Cash (O2C) Integration: Define and optimize end-to-end Order-to-Cash data flows, orchestrating seamless integrations between SMCS, RMCS, Oracle Cloud AR/Billing, GL, and external CRM/CPQ engines.
Technical & Functional Governance: Lead solution design workshops, author functional design specs, configure billing/revenue rules, and resolve complex accounting subledger integration challenges.
Stakeholder & Advisory Leadership: Partner directly with Executive Finance, Accounting, and IT leadership to translate financial compliance mandates into scalable Oracle Cloud solutions.
#Required Qualifications
Core Experience: 12+ years of progressive Oracle ERP/Cloud Financials experience, including at least 5+ years of hands-on architecture expertise in Oracle SMCS and Oracle RMCS.
Accounting Standards Depth: Expert knowledge of ASC 606 / IFRS 15 revenue recognition guidelines and subscription billing models.
Fusion Platform Mastery: Deep functional and technical knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud Financials (GL, AR, Billing, Revenue Management, Subscription Management).
Work Setup & Location: 100% Onsite commitment in Boston, MA.
