Client is looking for a 12+years of exp in Sr. Oracle WMS –EBS with Warehouse, Manufacturing, Supply chain/Inventory exp.
Design and configure all aspects of Oracle WMS & MFG implementation. Develop systems requirements, design, prototype, implement and rollout solutions. Write and maintain clear, concise functional and technical specifications for Oracle application and business system processes. Engage in project communications with client using a consultative approach. Anticipate obstacles and recommend solution options as they relate to the solution. Focus on client value and satisfaction while balancing corporate objectives, feasibility, and scalability of solution. Design and implement custom reports using Oracle reporting tools to address company needs and improve frequency, accuracy, and timeliness of reporting. Work and coordinate with other project team members and business users as needed. Produce and deliver documentation for design, training, and application administration - Operate independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Demonstrate expertise to deliver functional and technical solutions on highly complex customer engagements. Effectively consult with management of customer organizations. Gain client acceptance of the implemented solution. Fully comprehend client requirements and translate them into implementable solutions using leading Oracle practices and processes, avoiding customizations wherever possible. Define and adhere to solution standards, estimates, processes, policies, and procedures. Familiar with other departments methodologies including project management and development methodologies.
Mandatory Skills, Certifications and Experience :-
10+ years Oracle ERP WMS & MFG related experience designing, configuring, and architecting all aspects of ERP. In Depth Knowledge on Master data setup & Processes for MFG/WMS implementation. In-depth functional understanding of WMS functionality which includes Inbound Logistics, Outbound Logistics, Reverse Logistics and Value-Added Services. Experience with Mobile Supply Chain Application Required. In-depth functional understanding of Oracle Inventory and Manufacturing Modules (Bills of Material, Engineering, Work in Progress, Costing) is required. Experience working with multiple Cost Types Standard, Average and FIFO. Discrete Manufacturing covering Outside Processing - Understand the Pros / Cons of using Work in Process in an Average Costing organization. Detailed knowledge of Inventory item attributes and their corresponding functionality is critical. Good understanding of Flow, Repetitive and Flow manufacturing processes and oracle functionalities is preferable. Shipping Execution -- Back to Back order Cycle - Inbound and outbound operation in WMS with Task generation - Label designing and Ship confirmation Additional knowledge of Oracle SCM Modules (Order Management, Procurement) is a plus. Experience of Configure to Order product supply chain is preferred. Involvement with a minimum of five (5) full life cycle Oracle WMS and/or MFG implementations. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills with experience in troubleshooting issues for ERP clients. Strong analytical skills and ability to think in a complex and rapidly changing environment. Excellent oral and written communication skills. BS degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
Individual should be ready to travel (within US or outside US) for milestone events. Travel requirement within US and international (Germany and Hongkong) is must for milestone events like UAT, Go-live etc.

Business problem being solved:
We need an experienced Oracle WMS Functional Lead to support the design (12+ years), implementation, enhancement, and stabilization of warehouse management processes. The role will help translate business and operational requirements into scalable Oracle WMS solutions, resolve complex functional/process issues, and provide functional leadership across warehouse and supply chain workstreams.
Primary role objective and key deliverables, first 90 days:
• Quickly understand the existing warehouse processes, Oracle landscape, business requirements, and current pain points.
• Lead functional discussions and solution design for Oracle WMS-related requirements.
• Identify process and system gaps and recommend practical solutions.
• Develop/review functional designs and configurations and coordinate with the technical team for required extensions and integrations.
• Support SIT/UAT, defect resolution, cutover, deployment, and stabilization activities as applicable.
• Establish strong working relationships with client business, IT, and delivery stakeholders.
• Provide functional leadership and ownership rather than requiring significant day-to-day direction.
Team size and structure:
Part of a broader Oracle EBS IT team consisting of functional, technical, integration, testing, and project management resources. The WMS Functional Lead will own/lead the WMS functional workstream and collaborate closely with adjacent Supply Chain areas.

The ideal candidate is a senior Oracle WMS Functional Lead with deep hands-on Oracle EBS WMS and Inventory expertise. We need someone who can independently lead client discussions, understand warehouse operations, translate requirements into Oracle solutions, configure and troubleshoot the application, and drive the WMS workstream through design, testing, deployment, and stabilization. Please prioritize demonstrated WMS depth and hands-on delivery experience over candidates with broad Oracle exposure but limited WMS expertise.
Specific tools, platforms, versions, or certifications required:
• Oracle E-Business Suite, preferably R12.2.14+
• Oracle WMS (on-prem)
• Mobile/RF warehouse transactions
• Oracle Inventory
• Oracle Order Management and Shipping
• Working knowledge of integrations/interfaces with upstream and downstream Supply Chain applications
• Oracle certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
• Oracle Purchasing / Procurement
• Manufacturing or Planning integration knowledge
• Experience with warehouse automation or external logistics systems
• SQL knowledge sufficient for functional analysis and troubleshooting
• Experience with large-scale Oracle implementations, upgrades, or transformation programs
Overall years of experience expected:
Approximately 10+ years of overall Oracle Supply Chain experience, with significant hands-on Oracle WMS experience.
Candidate Profile
Preferred profile:
Hybrid hands-on functional lead / solution lead. We are looking for someone who can both lead client discussions and work directly in the application. The candidate should be comfortable moving between business requirements, solution design, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and coordination with technical resources.
This should not be a purely project-management or high-level architect profile.
Preferred industries:
Preference for candidates with experience in environments with significant warehouse/distribution operations, such as:
• Manufacturing
• Distribution
• Industrial/manufacturing supply chain
