Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Program Manager to lead complex healthcare technology initiatives and drive the successful delivery of strategic enterprise programs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience working with senior executives, business stakeholders, product owners, and IT leadership, while managing cross-functional teams and ensuring alignment between business objectives and technology solutions.
The successful candidate will bring strong expertise in program governance, stakeholder management, budgeting, risk management, resource planning, change management, and delivery execution across Agile, Waterfall, and Hybrid environments.
Key Responsibilities-
- Lead and manage multiple projects or large-scale programs from initiation through completion.
- Partner with Senior Business Leaders, Executive Stakeholders, Product Owners, and IT Leadership to define strategy, priorities, roadmaps, and delivery objectives.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive program plans, schedules, resource plans, budgets, milestones, and governance structures.
- Drive execution while ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, quality, budget, and financial targets.
- Facilitate executive steering committee meetings and provide clear, concise status reporting to leadership.
- Manage dependencies across multiple teams, projects, applications, and business units.
- Identify, assess, track, and mitigate program risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, healthcare processes, and technology delivery.
- Collaborate closely with Architecture, Development, QA, Infrastructure, Security, Operations, Product, and Business teams.
- Monitor project financials, forecasts, resource utilization, vendor performance, and overall program health.
- Apply Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid project management methodologies as appropriate.
- Drive organizational change management, communication planning, stakeholder engagement, and adoption activities.
- Establish program KPIs, performance metrics, milestones, and success criteria.
- Mentor Project Managers and team members while promoting accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support portfolio-level prioritization, capacity planning, and strategic program initiatives.
Required Qualifications-
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of Project Management / Program Management experience in large enterprise environments.
- Proven experience working directly with Senior Executives, Business Leaders, and IT Leadership.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, and Hybrid delivery methodologies.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional technology programs.
- Strong budgeting, forecasting, financial tracking, resource management, and vendor management experience.
- Excellent executive communication, presentation, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, negotiation, escalation, and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated experience in risk, issue, dependency, change, and program governance management.
Preferred Qualifications-
- Healthcare, Health Insurance, Payer, Provider, or Digital Health experience.
- Experience with healthcare technology platforms and systems.
- Knowledge of claims, membership, provider, clinical, or healthcare data systems.
- Experience with enterprise transformation, cloud migration, data modernization, or digital transformation programs.
- Exposure to healthcare compliance and regulatory requirements, including HIPAA.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Jira, Clarity PPM, MS Project, or similar tools.
- PMP, PgMP, PMI-ACP, Scrum Master, SAFe, or equivalent certification.
- Experience managing global or distributed delivery teams.
- Experience leveraging AI-enabled project management and productivity tools.

Ideal Candidate: A senior enterprise Project/Program Manager with strong healthcare technology experience who can lead complex programs, manage executive stakeholders, control budgets and resources, mitigate risks, and deliver strategic technology initiatives across cross-functional teams.
In compliance with the salary transparency law, the expected pay range for this role is $70 $80/hr. Actual compensation depends on experience and interview evaluation.
