The ideal candidate combines strong industry knowledge with a proven ability to hunt for new business, develop executive-level customer relationships, create compelling solutions, and successfully close complex sales opportunities. * Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities, with a strong emphasis on new customer acquisition and market expansion
* Build and maintain relationships with wireless carriers, enterprise customers, strategic partners, and other key stakeholders
* Develop and execute strategic account and territory plans designed to grow revenue, market share, and profitability

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7-10+ years of successful sales and/or business development experience, ideally within mobile computing, rugged devices, enterprise mobility, telecommunications, wireless, or a closely related technology market
* Demonstrated success developing new customers and new revenue opportunities in a hunter-oriented sales environment
* Experience selling into wireless carriers, enterprise organizations, private network environments, or similar complex customer environments preferred
* Strong knowledge of rugged handheld devices, tablets, mobile computing solutions, enterprise mobility, or related technologies strongly preferred
* Strong understanding of market positioning, competitive analysis, pricing strategy, and solution selling
* Strong business acumen with the ability to evaluate opportunities based on revenue potential, profitability, competitive positioning, and long-term strategic value
* Excellent presentation, negotiation, relationship-building, and executive communication skills
* Self-directed and entrepreneurial, with the ability to operate successfully in a highly autonomous business development role
* Proven ability to manage complex, solution-based sales cycles from initial prospecting through contract negotiation and close
* Ability to translate customer requirements and market feedback into actionable recommendations for product and engineering teams
* Ability to collaborate effectively across sales, product management, engineering, product marketing, and executive leadership teams
* Willingness and ability to travel approximately 50%, primarily to customer locations throughout the United States
* Initial product and organizational training may require travel to California
