About the Role:
We're looking for a senior SAP consultant with a strong SAP FICO background and hands-on SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) experience. You'll work on a financial planning and performance management project, building PaPM models for profitability, allocations, and performance management on top of a solid FICO base. This is a hands-on role, and you'll work directly with finance teams, so clear communication and the ability to work both independently and with others matter.
What You'll Do:
• Design, configure, and deliver SAP Finance solutions for profitability, performance management, and financial planning
• Build and maintain models for allocations, profitability analysis, and what-if scenarios
• Lead the delivery of your workstream end-to-end, from requirements through to a working solution
• Work with finance and business teams to turn their requirements into working solutions
• Guide and mentor other consultants, and set the technical direction on the PaPM work
• Help connect core SAP Finance modules with planning and modelling tools
• Advise on best practices and help solve issues as they come up
Required Qualifications:
• 11+ years of hands-on SAP FICO experience (Financial Accounting, FI, and Controlling, CO). Required and non-negotiable.
• At least 4 years of hands-on SAP PaPM (Profitability and Performance Management) experience. Required and non-negotiable. This is the main skill for the role.
• Leadership experience. For example, leading a workstream or project team, owning delivery end-to-end, acting as a functional or solution lead, or mentoring other consultants.
• Experience in financial planning, modelling, and/or performance management
• Able to work independently in a remote, client-facing role, with strong communication skills
• Availability for approximately 20% travel
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with similar SAP or IBM planning tools (SAP BPC, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, IBM Planning Analytics / TM1)
• Experience with allocations, profitability analysis, or financial/regulatory calculations at scale
• Past consulting or contract work with large enterprise clients
Note: SAP PaPM experience is strongly preferred. Senior SAP Finance consultants with a strong financial planning background are welcome to apply too.
