Senior SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance Consultant

Job Description:

• We have an active requirement for a Senior SAP FICO / S/4HANA Finance Consultant to support an SAP S/4HANA transformation and blueprinting initiative for a global industrial manufacturing client.
• The consultant will be involved in defining the global finance template, Fit-to-Standard workshops, solution design, integration assessment, and S/4HANA Finance architecture. Strong experience across SAP FI/CO, S/4HANA Finance, Central Finance (CFIN), and Group Reporting is required.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience in SAP Financial Accounting (FI) and Controlling (CO).
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO configuration and integration.
• Strong SAP S/4HANA Finance experience.
• Experience with SAP Central Finance (CFIN).
• Experience with SAP Group Reporting.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end financial processes and integration.
• Experience participating in SAP S/4HANA transformation, implementation, or blueprinting projects.
• Ability to work directly with business stakeholders and senior project teams.
• Manufacturing industry experience is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA blueprinting and Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Define and validate the global finance template and enterprise structure.
• Lead discussions around FI/CO solution design and integration.
• Define requirements for period-end and year-end close, Close Cockpit, allocations, settlements, and financial reporting.
• Support design of S/4HANA Finance processes and integration with other business systems.
• Analyze finance integration touchpoints with systems such as PLM, MES, and other manufacturing applications.
• Provide expertise around Central Finance and Group Reporting.
• Review existing business processes and identify opportunities for standardization and S/4HANA adoption.
• Prepare and review functional design documents, solution designs, process flows, and other project deliverables.
• Work closely with offshore FICO consultants and provide guidance on deliverables, estimates, configuration, and design artifacts.
• Represent the FICO workstream in Design Authority, integration forums, and senior stakeholder walkthroughs.
• Support issue resolution, design decisions, and cross-functional integration discussions.
• Coordinate with other SAP workstreams including MM, SD, PP, and technical/integration teams.

Technical / Integration Experience

• Strong understanding of FI/CO integration with MM, SD, PP, and other SAP modules.
• Experience with S/4HANA Finance architecture and integration.
• Knowledge of Central Finance replication and integration concepts.
• Experience with financial data integration and reporting.
• Understanding of interfaces between SAP and non-SAP applications.
• Experience working with technical teams on integrations, enhancements, and data requirements.

Preferred Experience

• SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud Edition / RISE with SAP experience.
• Experience with Global Template and global SAP transformation programs.
• Experience conducting or participating in Fit-to-Standard workshops.
• Central Finance implementation experience.
• Group Reporting implementation/configuration experience.
• Industrial Manufacturing experience.
• Experience working with global finance organizations and multiple regions.

Candidate Profile

• Looking for consultants with 10+ years of SAP FICO experience who can operate at a senior functional/solution level.
• Strong SAP FICO, S/4HANA Finance, CFIN, and Group Reporting experience is required. Candidates who have progressed from Senior FICO Consultant → Lead → Solution Architect and still have strong hands-on functional knowledge are encouraged to apply.
