SQL Server Syncade Expert

We are seeking an experienced SQL Server Syncade Expert with strong hands-on expertise in Emerson Syncade MES and Microsoft SQL Server. The ideal candidate will serve as a technical Consultant  for Syncade MES applications, database architecture, performance tuning, integrations, and production troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical SME for Emerson Syncade MES applications and underlying architecture.
• Analyze and resolve complex performance issues across Syncade MES applications and SQL Server databases.
• Perform advanced SQL Server performance tuning, including:
• Query optimization
• Indexing strategies
• Execution plan analysis
• Database health assessments
• Performance monitoring
• Troubleshoot and optimize Syncade integrations, interfaces, and enterprise data flows.
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) for application, database, and integration performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with MES, infrastructure, database, and application teams to improve system stability, scalability, and response times.
• Review application and database architecture and recommend performance optimization strategies and best practices.
• Support Syncade upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and production operations.
• Provide architecture-level recommendations to technical and business stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Emerson Syncade MES – Required.
• Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server administration and development.
• Proven experience with performance tuning and optimization of Syncade-based applications.
• Strong expertise in:
• SQL Query Tuning
• Stored Procedures
• Indexing
• Database Design
• Execution Plans
• SQL Server Performance Monitoring
• Good understanding of Syncade integrations, interfaces, and data exchange mechanisms.
• Experience troubleshooting complex MES production environments.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to provide architecture-level recommendations and technical guidance.
