JOB SUMMARY
Seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Consultant to drive performance, forecasting, and growth across its non-ticket ancillary revenue portfolio, with a primary focus on Gift Cards and digital commerce revenue streams.
This role will own reporting, dashboard analytics, revenue forecasting, financial modeling, and performance management. The Senior Consultant will partner with Digital, Brand, Commercial, Finance, external vendors, and strategic partners to identify growth opportunities, evaluate investments, and provide data-driven recommendations to senior leadership.
The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and financial expertise, executive communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders in a highly matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Own reporting and performance measurement for Gift Cards and non-ticket ancillary revenue.
- Develop and manage executive dashboards, KPIs, scorecards, and business performance reporting.
- Analyze revenue trends, customer behavior, channel performance, and key growth drivers.
- Prepare quarterly and annual business reviews covering performance, opportunities, risks, and recommendations.
- Transform large and disparate data sources into actionable business intelligence.
- Identify market trends, customer monetization opportunities, and revenue growth initiatives.
- Evaluate business and marketing initiatives using analytical and financial frameworks.
- Develop annual budgets, multi-year forecasts, revenue plans, and financial models.
- Perform NPV, ROI, payback, sensitivity, and scenario analyses for business investments.
- Partner with Finance and Commercial teams on planning cycles, forecasting, and long-range growth strategies.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and strategic partners supporting ancillary revenue initiatives.
- Lead vendor and partner business reviews and monitor performance against contractual and business objectives.
- Evaluate promotional, marketing, partnership, and commercialization opportunities.
- Develop executive presentations, business cases, and strategic recommendations.
- Present insights, forecasts, investment opportunities, and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Support strategic initiatives involving digital commerce, loyalty, partnerships, customer acquisition, and ancillary revenue growth.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in commercial strategy, business analytics, revenue management, financial planning, management consulting, digital commerce, partnerships, or related disciplines.
- Demonstrated experience with business performance reporting, executive dashboards, revenue forecasting, and strategic recommendations.
- Advanced financial modeling skills, including forecasting, budgeting, NPV, ROI, scenario planning, and business case development.
- Experience presenting complex analytical insights and recommendations to senior leadership.
- Experience managing or influencing external vendors, agencies, strategic partners, or commercial stakeholders.
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous business problems into analytical frameworks and actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in travel, transportation, hospitality, ecommerce, loyalty, gift cards, fintech, retail, digital products, consulting, or ancillary revenue.
- MBA or Masters degree in Finance, Economics, Business Analytics, Strategy, Data Science, or a related discipline.
- Experience supporting P&L management, revenue growth planning, or commercialization initiatives.
- Experience with partnership performance, affiliate programs, loyalty programs, gift card programs, or customer acquisition channels.
- Experience working in highly matrixed organizations with multiple executive stakeholders.
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Advanced proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, ThoughtSpot, Sigma, or similar BI and data visualization platforms.
- Strong SQL and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with cloud-based analytics platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Google BigQuery, AWS, or similar technologies.
- Experience using AI-enabled analytics and reporting capabilities to accelerate insight generation and business decision-making.
Success Measures
Within the first 12 months, the successful candidate will be expected to:
- Establish a trusted and scalable reporting framework for Gift Card and non-ticket ancillary revenue.
- Improve forecast accuracy and financial visibility across the ancillary revenue portfolio.
- Deliver executive-level insights that influence commercial decisions and investment priorities.
- Identify and quantify new revenue growth opportunities.
- Strengthen vendor and partner accountability through performance measurement and business reviews.
- Support achievement of annual ancillary revenue growth objectives.
