Job Title: Senior Analytics Developer

Locations: Austin, TX (Preferred) or Southlake, TX

Work Model: Hybrid (4 days on-site, 1 day remote - candidate's choice)

Duration: 12+ Months (Contract to extend/hire)

About the Role:

In this role, you will drive analytics, reporting, automation, and data-driven decision support for our technology capacity planning initiatives. You will work closely with Technology leadership, Corporate Strategy, Finance, and enterprise reporting stakeholders to fundamentally improve visibility into resource capacity, demand, delivery metrics, and operational insights.

As a Senior Analytics Developer, you will sit at the intersection of business strategy and technical execution, transforming complex data from various enterprise sources into clear, actionable insights that guide leadership decisions.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary analytics developer supporting capacity analytics, data preparation, and process automation.
  • Gather, document, and analyze reporting requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Extract and analyze complex data sets from Clarity, Jira, and other enterprise sources.
  • Design, build, and optimize Alteryx workflows to streamline data preparation and automate routine reporting processes.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain intuitive dashboards using Tableau and Power BI.
  • Validate data quality and integrity, proactively troubleshooting and resolving any reporting or data-flow issues.
  • Document repeatable processes, data architectures, and reporting workflows to ensure team scalability and operational excellence.


Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in data analytics, data preparation, and dashboard development.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in building, enhancing, and maintaining Alteryx workflows.
  • Experience developing interactive, high-quality dashboards using Tableau and/or Power BI.
  • Experience analyzing and extracting data from enterprise systems such as Clarity, Jira, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to gather requirements from cross-functional stakeholders and translate them into technical reporting solutions.
  • Ability to work on-site 4 days a week in either our Austin, TX or Southlake, TX offices.


Preferred qualifications:
  • Exposure to or practical experience working with Apptio.
  • Background in technology capacity planning, resource management analytics, or financial data support.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a track record of troubleshooting reporting issues and validating data quality.
  • Excellent communication skills to interface effectively with Technology leadership, Corporate Strategy, and Finance teams.
