responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities
? Develop, enhance, and support HL7 v2.x interfaces in Epic Bridges and
integration engines Cloverleaf, Rhapsody and InterSystems Ensemble
? Design, build, and support Epic Bridges interfaces and related
interoperability workflows, including vendor interfaces connected to Epic.
? Perform message analysis, mapping, and troubleshooting for HL7
message types (ADT, MDM, ORM, ORU, SIU, DFT, etc.), X12/EDI and
resolve interface failures independently.
? Translate clinical/business requirements into HL7 mappings and
integration specifications; create and maintain interface specs, mapping
documents, diagrams and support guides.
? Perform Epic-side build/configuration changes in Bridges required to
enable or modify interfaces.
? Support Epic upgrade cycles, including Nova Notes review, regression
testing, and end-to-end validation.
? Monitor interface queues and transaction logs for errors/latency;
coordinate remediation and communicate status and impact to non-technical
stakeholders.
? Ensure data exchange complies with HIPAA and organizational security
standards; support secure connectivity patterns as required.
