Position Summary
We are seeking a results-oriented, detail-driven Inside Sales Representative to join our Federal Sales team in the Washington, DC metro area. In this role, you will own the end-to-end quote-to-order lifecycle for our NASA SEWP contract vehicle, with a strong emphasis on Cisco hardware sales and quoting.
You will be responsible for responding to federal agency requests, generating accurate and compliant quotes using Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW), negotiating competitive pricing with OEMs and distributors, managing deal registrations, and driving task orders to closure. This is a high-impact, fast-paced role ideal for a professional with experience in federal IT procurement (VAR sales), government contract vehicles, and Cisco hardware ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
- Quote Management & RFQ Response: Respond promptly to federal customer quote requests received through the SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT), direct emails, and agency outreach, ensuring all deadlines and response windows are met.
- Cisco Quoting & Configuration: Utilize Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW) to build accurate bills of materials (BOMs), validate configurations, and generate compliant quotes.
- Deal Registration & OEM Collaboration: Drive Cisco deal registrations and partner with major IT distributors (e.g., TD SYNNEX, Ingram Micro, Carahsoft, Arrow) and OEMs to secure competitive pricing, special/bid pricing, and maximize margins.
- Order Lifecycle Management: Coordinate the complete lifecycle from quotation and purchase order processing to shipment tracking, delivery confirmation, and invoicing in alignment with our finance and operations teams.
- Catalog Maintenance: Maintain and optimize KriaaNet’s SEWP catalog by preparing and submitting Contract Line Item (CLIN) additions, updates, and modifications.
- Contract Compliance: Ensure all quoting and sales transactions comply with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), the Trade Agreements Act (TAA), NASA SEWP contract terms, and company policies.
- Pipeline Tracking: Maintain accurate pipeline, quote logs, and activity records in our CRM; regularly report on progress against monthly and quarterly sales/margin targets.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 2–5 years of inside sales, federal quoting, or account management experience, specifically working within a federal Value-Added Reseller (VAR) or distributor environment.
- Cisco Ecosystem Expertise: Hands-on experience with Cisco Commerce Workspace (CCW), Cisco deal registrations, and high-volume Cisco hardware quoting is strictly required.
- Contract Vehicle Knowledge: Working knowledge of the federal procurement lifecycle and government-wide acquisition contracts (GWACs), with direct experience in NASA SEWP strongly preferred.
- Tools & Technology: Proficient with CRM platforms (such as HubSpot or Salesforce), MS Office (particularly Excel), and distributor procurement portals.
- Multi-tasking & Communication: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple active quotes simultaneously under tight deadlines, paired with excellent written and verbal communication.
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with the NASA SEWP Quote Request Tool (QRT) and catalog/CLIN submission processes.
- Understanding of federal small business socio-economic set-asides (8(a), HUBZone, WOSB) and how to leverage them.
- Existing relationships with federal IT procurement teams, end-users, or Cisco channel sales representatives.
