COMPENSATION: $59 - $69 HOURLY
Role Overview
As a UX Researcher, you will have the opportunity to partner directly with a single, tightly integrated pod with significant freedom to operate. Research is paramount to this organization's success. You will conduct formative research to identify latent needs, iterative design research to mold early product ideas, and creative evaluative research to improve and prepare products for market.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with researchers, designers, PMs & engineers to identify, define and deliver meaningful products.
- Collaboratively and independently develop and execute research roadmaps.
- Lead various research studies throughout all phases of the product development cycle.
- Contribute to product strategy, execution, and go-to-market plan.
- Manage research vendors to help augment the work of the research team.
Required Qualifications
Education: A BA/BS degree in a human behavior related field, such as human-computer interaction, psychology, sociology, communication, information science, media studies, computer science, or economics is required.
Experience: Experience with data and utilizing numbers to define and support hypotheses is necessary. Experience with storytelling to get traction with various audiences and experience with autonomy and decision-making to balance demands are also required. Experience managing external research vendors is mandatory.
Technical Skills: Proficiency with questionnaire design, survey programming, and survey quality assurance is required. Experience with traditional quantitative analysis and tooling (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, SQL) and survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics) is necessary. A willingness to learn and experience with AI tools is also required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience harmonizing or consolidating multiple tracking instruments into a single framework.
- Familiarity with brand health measurement, brand preference research, and brand lift methodology.
- Experience with global or multi-market tracking programs.
- Experience in the social media, entertainment, or consumer technology category.
- Experience partnering with data engineering or analytics teams on data pipelines.
- Experience working embedded on a marketing or consumer brand team.
- Experience with the global market and quantitative analysis.
- Experience working on dashboarding.
