Senior Staff Product Designer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
A client with Kforce is seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to join their team in Oakland, CA.

Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Staff Product Designer to join the client's Money team, a mission-driven group dedicated to making financial progress possible for everyone. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for shaping the end-to-end customer experience across Company's banking and money management products, setting the vision for how millions engage with their finances.

REQUIREMENTS:
* 7-8+ years of UX/UI/Product design experience, with at least 2 years in a senior or staff-level role, and significant experience in mobile app design
* Experience collaborating cross-functionally with product, engineering, and research
* Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design and the ability to tackle ambiguous problems
* Exceptional visual, interaction, and systems design skills, with a strong attention to detail
* Deep understanding of human-centered design, accessibility, and usability principles
* Expert knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes while working collaboratively with customers, along with cross-functional teams including engineering, product management, and user research
* Deep knowledge of user experience methods, innovation, ideation, storytelling, prototyping, design frameworks, concept visualization, problem-framing skills and design principles
* Familiarity with mobile design guidelines and best practices (e.g., Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Material Design)
* Proven track record of shipping impactful consumer-facing digital products, ideally in fintech, banking, or financial wellness, with a proven track record in mobile product development
* Proven track record in setting a vision for great customer experiences, inspiring others to get behind the vision, and ultimately delivering products and services that are known for their delightful experience and ease of use
* Ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization, balancing business needs with member advocacy

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
