Job Title: Senior Accessibility Tester
Job Location: San Jose, CA
Job Type: Contract
Pay Range: $45.00hr - $50.00hr
Job Overview:
The Senior Tester will be responsible for conducting accessibility testing against WCAG 2.2 A/AA, EN 301549, RG AA, and software testing. The candidate will review deliverables from testers and guide them with suggested fixes for remediation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accessibility testing on software applications to assess compliance with accessibility standards.
- Perform end-to-end testing to identify and resolve software defects and issues.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure all testing requirements are met.
- Document test cases, results, and defects for review and improvement purposes.
Skill Requirements:
- Proficiency in accessibility testing methodologies and tools.
- Sound understanding of software testing processes, strategies, and methodologies.
- Ability to analyze software requirements and design appropriate test cases.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail in identifying defects.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
