Job Location : Remote, only candidates currently located in Indiana will be considered.

Job Duration : 6 Months

Job Description :

• Experienced Senior .NET Application & Accessibility Consultant having experience with AI tools to lead full-stack development and legacy code remediation and testing.
• In this role, the candidate will perform ADA scan to application code, plan and apply fixes to legacy .NET web applications ensuring strict adherence to WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA and ADA Section 508 standards.
• The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in C#, modern JavaScript, Telerik and CSS with advanced knowledge of enterprise AI tooling (GitHub Enterprise Cloud Copilot, Claude AI) and modern DevOps pipelines. The candidate will take ownership of the legacy PDF reports generated built on the Crystal Reports engine, convert those reports to ADA complaint/accessible PDF reports. Additionally, auditing front-end interfaces, and executing systematic code remediation across complex C# / .NET applications.
• The selected candidate must be comfortable visiting the office for meetings, if requested
• Selected candidate is expected to work onsite for a few days at the start of the engagement to obtain/setup equipment and meet team members before beginning remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

• Full-Stack .NET Development & Modernization: Develop, and maintain enterprise web applications built on modern C#, .NET, .NET Core, Telerik UI and standard HTML5/CSS3/JavaScript frontends.
• ADA Compliance & Web Accessibility (WCAG): Conduct comprehensive audits (using screen readers such as NVDA/WAVE alongside Claud.ai automated scans) and lead remediation efforts to ensure all web interfaces meet WCAG 2.1/2.2 Level AA and Section 508 requirements.
• Accessible PDF Generation: Conduct comprehensive audits of the legacy PDF reports code and build fully compliant, dynamic PDF reporting modules (tagged PDFs, reading orders, structural elements) directly within .NET workflows.
• AI-Assisted Engineering: Leverage enterprise AI tools—including GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Copilot and Anthropic Claude—to accelerate code accessibility auditing, refactoring, documentation, and test generation.

Skills:

• .NET Core / .NET Required 7 Years
• ASP.NET Core (MVC/Razor/Web API), and C# enterprise patterns Required 8 Years
• Deep proficiency in native JavaScript (ES6+), modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, CSS Variables, SCSS), and semantic HTML5 Required
• Expert understanding of W3C web standards, cross-browser performance optimization, and responsive design patterns Required
• Expert-level knowledge of WCAG 2.1/2.2 AA guidelines, WAI-ARIA authoring practices, and ADA Section 508 compliance Required
• Hands-on experience developing accessible PDF output using .NET PDF libraries with proper tag trees, alternative text, reading order, and table header Required
• Experience testing with tools like Claude AI, NVDA, and WAVE Required
• Hands-on expertise using GitHub Enterprise Cloud (GHEC) Copilot and Anthropic Claude (Claude Code, API, or enterprise interfaces) Required
• Proven experience with CI/CD automation, pipeline configuration (GitHub Actions / Azure Pipelines), git workflows, and release engineering Required
