This role is responsible for hands-on engineering and operational support of Microsoft Intune in a large enterprise environment, with a strong focus on endpoint patching, remediation, and device lifecycle management. Success in this position requires deep troubleshooting capability across Intune, Windows Autopilot, and MDM/MAM, along with the ability to automate and scale endpoint processes through PowerShell. You will help improve patch compliance, reduce deployment failures, and strengthen endpoint health through measurable, repeatable practices.
Responsibilities:
- Administer, troubleshoot, and enhance Microsoft Intune to improve reliability, performance, and end-user/device management outcomes across the enterprise
- Drive enterprise patch management activities, including deploying updates, validating effectiveness, investigating failures, and pushing remediation through to closure
- Build and maintain end-to-end Windows Autopilot workflows, including enrollment, provisioning, device configuration, and lifecycle management for modern Windows endpoints
- Develop and enforce MDM/MAM policies for configuration, compliance, application management, and security baselines aligned to operational requirements
- Automate endpoint operations with PowerShell scripts to collect device data, accelerate troubleshooting, reduce manual effort, and support remediation at scale
- Analyze patch and compliance results to identify trends, prioritize remediation work, and improve ongoing patch success rates and reporting accuracy
- Establish and refine scalable endpoint processes and standards suitable for mid-to-large enterprise environments, including documentation and runbooks for repeatable execution
- Partner with security and IT operations stakeholders to align patching, compliance, and remediation execution with vulnerability risk and operational timelines
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise endpoint environments, with deep hands-on Microsoft Intune engineering (administration, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement)
- Proven enterprise patch management and remediation experience, including patch deployment, compliance measurement, failure analysis, and remediation execution
- Strong end-to-end Windows Autopilot experience, including enrollment, provisioning, profiles, and operational troubleshooting
- Hands-on expertise with MDM/MAM concepts and implementation, including configuration policies, compliance policies, and application management
- Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, endpoint data collection, troubleshooting support, and remediation workflows
- Experience operating in mid-to-large endpoint estates with a focus on scalable processes, standardization, and measurable operational outcomes
Preferred Skills:
- Experience using CrowdStrike and/or vulnerability management tooling to interpret vulnerability and remediation data and apply it to patching priorities and reporting
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, Azure, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Graph in support of endpoint and security operations
- KQL experience to query and analyze endpoint, compliance, or security telemetry for operational insights
- Relevant certifications such as Security+, Microsoft Endpoint Administrator, ITIL, or similar credentials
