We are seeking an ETL Developer with strong experience in Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud (IDMC/IICS), including Cloud Data Integration (CDI) and Cloud Application Integration (CAI), along with Azure Synapse Analytics. This role will develop and support data pipelines, application integrations, and data warehouse solutions for enterprise reporting and business operations.
Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience developing integrations using Informatica IDMC/IICS, with strong expertise in both CDI and CAI.
- Strong experience with Azure Synapse Analytics, particularly dedicated SQL pools, distributed tables, and query performance tuning.
- Advanced SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, stored procedures, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with REST APIs, JSON/XML, OAuth 2.0, pagination, retries, and exception handling.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing, dimensional modeling, incremental loading, and ETL/ELT design.
- Experience integrating relational databases, cloud storage, flat files, and enterprise applications.
- Ability to investigate production issues independently and communicate clearly with technical and business teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica CDI to integrate data from databases, enterprise applications, APIs, and files.
- Build mappings, mapping tasks, reusable components, and taskflows for full and incremental data loads.
- Develop CAI processes, service connectors, and REST API integrations, including authentication, orchestration, error handling, and monitoring.
- Develop and optimize Azure Synapse SQL queries, stored procedures, and data loading processes.
- Implement data warehouse solutions, including fact and dimension tables, slowly changing dimensions, deduplication, and deletion handling.
- Perform source-to-target mapping, data validation, reconciliation, and data quality checks.
- Troubleshoot production failures, resolve data discrepancies, and improve integration performance.
- Collaborate with business analysts, application teams, and reporting teams to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Maintain technical documentation, test plans, deployment instructions, and operational support procedures.
Annual Base Salary Range for CA, CO, IL, NJ, NY, WA, and DC: $140,000 to $150,000. Actual compensation offered may vary depending on factors including but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
